Scrapbooking ideas are as numerous as the stars! However, sometimes we need to come down to earth and simplify our page layouts. What I mean by this is that usually when we are stumped when making a page layout it is because we think we have to create a masterpiece, and we don’t! There is great beauty in the simplicity of a layout. Here are a few scrapbooking ideas on keeping it simple:
*Enlarge your photo – we sometimes feel that we have to put something on every part of the page. When I get in this mind set, I enlarge my photo so that it takes up more room on the page. I don’t do this all of the time, but occasionally I love the look that a larger photo brings to the page layout.
*Make your journaling a beautiful element on your page – I have included a link below that gives many scrapbooking ideas on just what I mean by this. But let me explain a little further. Make your journaling block and then add cute embellishments to it (such as rub-ons, stickers, charms, etc.), or doodle around it, or use your rubber stamps to highlight the journaling block.
